Jaguar 420 - the final much-improved version of S-Type, very rare, made from 67-69 only, not to be confused with the much larger 420 G, based on the e-type, 4.2 litre, 245bhp, 0-60 in 9 seconds, independent rear suspension [superior handling to Mk 2] ,rare manual transmission with overdrive, power steering, Opalescent Silver-Blue metallic, black leather, factory wire wheels, factory radio with retractable electric ariel, electric choke, engine rebuilt at 63.000 miles, recent new clutch hydraulic system, partial stainless steel exhaust, new downpipe, recent work to carburetors, brakes and cooling system by classic Jaguar specialist. Massive service history back to 1974 with all receipts, tax discs and MOT's etc. Excellent all round condition, everything works properly, beautiful much-admired classic Jaguar, once owned by a famous celebrity who featured the car in Classic Car magazine [copy included], drives beautifully.
