AUSTIN MINI MAYFAIR 1983 Convertible conversion.1 am not sure when the conversion was carried out but in the paperwork file there is an Engineer’s report confirming that the conversion was completed correctly.
In the files are invoices for £1710 from a previous owner and we have spent £2565 in the time we have owned it plus the cost of the engine.
Work on the Mini has been carried out by Steve Harris who is well known for his Mini engine work and is very highly respected in the Mini world.There is full documentation of the engine rebuild which is now 1330cc The gearbox ratios are set for nice modern cruising speeds, the Mini has been fitted with new Minilite wheels and tyres.
We have owned the Mini since 2016 and have great fun with it including going to a car rally in France.
It has just been checked over and has a new mot. It is only for sale because of a pending property move. We have reduced the selling price from £12950 to £10500 for an very quick sale
